To be able to reach the vulnerable populations affected by disasters at the soonest, AFGA through UNFPA financial support established four warehouses in four regions, Kabul, Balkh, Herat, and Kandahar.
The Kabul warehouse is used for central region provinces including Kapisa, Parwan, Panjshir, and Logar provinces. The Balkh warehouse is used for northern region provinces including Samangan, Jawzjan, Sar-e -pol, and Faryab provinces. The Herat warehouse is used for western provinces including Badghis, Farah, and Ghor provinces. The Kandahar warehouse is used for the southeast region including Zabul, Oruzgan, Helmand, and Nimroz provinces.
These warehouses are used for prepositioning, storing, and distribution of medical and non-medical supply in 4 regions of Afghanistan
